Electric Bicycles-The Future of India?
Hero F2i, F3i Electric Mountain Bicycles Launched, See The Price And Specifications
Hero Cycles was founded in Ludhiana in 1956 by the late Shri Om Prakash Munjal, whose vision and business sense enabled the company to expand to the stage where the company stands now. Hero Cycles is the market leader in India with a market share of more than 43 percent and an annual manufacturing capacity of over 7.5 million cycles.
With the 380-acre Hero Industrial Park in Ludhiana, Hero Cycles has taken the turn towards India and a self-sufficient future, as Mr. O.P. Munjal had wished. Hero follows by supplying the home market with goods that meet export standards. Even if the company settled up its empire, it did not leave to adapt to evolving times. Hero Sprint was created in this way.
By acquiring Avocet Sports, HNF, and Firefox Bikes, Hero Cycle has also ventured into the European market, the electric cycle market, and the premium cycle industry.
Hero Cycles' dedication to raising the bar for itself has earned the company a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records and the affection of millions of cyclists.
